Released in 2020, Sect of Vile Divinities marks a powerful entry from the death metal pioneers Incantation. Renowned for over 30 years as a formidable force in the underground music scene, Incantation continues to push boundaries with this album, delivering a relentless mix of unyielding death metal and imposing funeral doom. The album features standout tracks like Propriation, Entrails of the Hag Queen, and Fury's Manifesto, each serving as a dark homage to ancient evils from various cultures, showcasing the band's signature driving riffs and pummeling drums.
Incantation's adherence to old-school death metal principles shines through in Sect of Vile Divinities, with the album being described as one of 2020's most unforgiving releases. This vinyl edition promises to deliver the twisted and mangled sound that fans have come to expect from this legendary band, solidifying their status as one of the most influential acts in the genre.
