Leon Bridges - Good Thing
Released in 2018, Good Thing is an evocative exploration of soul music infused with contemporary pop elements. This album showcases notable tracks that pay homage to the profound legacy of black musicians, particularly Sam Cooke and his peers. Leon Bridges, a talented young artist, draws on these influences to craft a sound that is both timeless and refreshing.
This special edition vinyl, celebrating the 5th anniversary of the album, is pressed on custard yellow vinyl, adding a vibrant touch to your collection. The deluxe version includes an additional track, "Naomi," which was previously exclusive to the Japanese CD release and is now available on vinyl for the first time.
Good Thing not only highlights Bridges' smooth vocals and heartfelt songwriting but also serves as a testament to his commitment to honoring the roots of soul music while pushing its boundaries. This release is essential for both long-time fans and new listeners alike.
